Rooted in Wellness
Our Vision
Our vision is to transform women’s wellbeing—emotionally, physically, and spiritually—through the power of the breath. We empower women to take back control of their health and their lives by learning how to regulate their nervous system, release tension, and restore balance.
Through simple yet powerful breathing techniques, women can reduce stress, lower blood pressure, sleep more deeply, and reconnect with themselves. We create a safe and supportive space for women at every stage of life—whether navigating the demands of raising children, moving through peri-menopause or menopause, recovering from burnout, managing high-pressure careers, or simply seeking an hour of blissful stillness.
Our vision is to guide women back to their innate strength, wisdom, and vitality—so they feel more grounded, resilient, and empowered to live life fully.

About me
Hello, my name is Kim, breathwork instructor
My journey with breathwork began during a difficult chapter in my life. After many years working in children’s services, adult and children’s mental health, the demands of my career, combined with the bereavement of a parent, led to complete burnout. It was a turning point that left my life feeling unrecognisable.
Rather than relying on medication, I turned to yoga and breathwork as a natural way to heal. Through the transformational method of SOMA Breath, I discovered techniques that not only restored balance to my nervous system but also helped me rebuild confidence, reconnect with a sense of empowerment, and find lasting calm. What struck me most was the accessibility—these practices were always available, whenever I needed them.
Having experienced the profound impact of breathwork in my own recovery, I went on to train as a certified SOMA Breath instructor so I could share these tools with others. I now integrate this work alongside my role in a homeless charity, where I support both colleagues and residents in refuges, including women and men escaping domestic abuse. In these settings, I have witnessed remarkable transformations—individuals finding relief, clarity, and renewed strength through the simple yet powerful act of breathing with awareness.
Today, my focus is on supporting women who are experiencing stress, burnout, or life transitions. Breathwork and guided meditation offer not just relaxation, but a pathway to reprogramming limiting beliefs, restoring balance, and reconnecting to a deeper sense of self.
If you are seeking calm, clarity, or simply a way to feel more grounded in daily life, breathwork can be a powerful first step.
